The 4 week Behavioural Change Challenges are designed to educate and encourage employees to take charge of their ‘Modifiable risk factors’ (ones they can change) and manage the ‘Non-Modifiable risk factors’ (ones they can’t change) in an effort to improve their overall health risk profile in the three main areas – Cardiovascular Disease, Type 2 Diabetes and Mental Health.  

The weekly challenges are generally simple and easy to complete tasks. They are reminders of what we know we should be doing daily or weekly to sustain overall health and wellbeing – both physically and mentally.

Healthy Heart Challenge

This Challenge is designed to help employees understand cardiovascular disease and improve overall heart health. They will be challenged to take charge of the ‘Modifiable risk factors’ (the ones they can change) and manage the ‘Non-Modifiable risk factors’ (the ones they can’t change) in a bid to improve their overall risk. Through practical application the key areas of focus include nutrition, physical activity, work/life balance and keeping track of their health status. 

Participants work both individually and in teams of 4 to complete the weekly missions set. Then the teams goes into a draw for a healthy fun prize.
